All the water falling down from the sky makes Saint Andrews Lake a wet site; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and August is when it's the driest. The scenery at Saint Andrews Dam in the neighborhood of Saint Andrews Lake is picturesque, and Saint Andrews Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Laurel Trails Campground is a tremendous       local campground. This lake is so wonderful. On a delightful day you obtain a view of Claibornes View from Saint Andrews Lake, and the River Mont Cave Historical Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. Coolies Rift is a brilliant spot to check out, and a tour to Piney Point is always a pleasant idea. Drift down the rapids of Big Fiery Gizzard Creek in a kayak, and Lake Cheston is a nearby lake that you could stop at. At Saint Andrews                  Lake through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Saint Andrews Lake. A perfect close by hotel is Best Western Smokehouse Lodge, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Winding Stairs. If you get bored of Saint Andrews Lake, you could also go to nearby Eva Lake, and the vistas at Russell Cave National Monument will blow your mind. Paddling on Little Fiery Gizzard Creek is so much fun, and since you're here, you might as well take a look at Henley Hollow. You assume that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up.
