Do stop by Rowe Lake while you're in this part of Tennessee. There's some attention-grabbing stuff to catch a glimpse of at Rowe Lake Dam near Rowe Lake, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Inn - Murphy is a delightful spot to spend a night or two. Rowe Lake is right by the Sugar Cove Trail, and the main feature in the area is the Unicoi Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Rowe Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Jake Best Campground is a magnificent local campground, and unsurprisingly, A visit to Beech Gap is always fun. And if that's not sufficient, there's loads more to do near Rowe Lake. Hiking along the Jeffrey Trail is tremendous fun, and the sight of Johns Knob is lovely.
