If you are in Shelby county it's always a good idea to stop by Rowe Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Rowe Lake without first going for a hike along the Sugar Cove Trail; there are some great whitewater spots on North River. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Inn - Murphy. Rowe Lake gets a large amount of water; during the month of March you get the most rain around here, and October is when it's the driest.

| | Great Smoky Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Rowe Lake is a fine site to camp, Doublecamp Campground is a fine site, and from Rowe Lake you acquire a delightful sight of Johns Knob. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things to do are beyond doubt bountiful here at Rowe Lake. Take a little journey to Gold Cove Branch if you're here at Rowe Lake; spots like Stratton Meadows are tremendous to stop at.

Great Smoky Mountains. There's magnificent hiking along the Big Indian Branch Trail, and the main highlight in the area is the Unicoi Mountains. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Rowe Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer
temperatures descend down into the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Rowe Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. Rowe Lake Dam is a charming site next to Rowe Lake, and get yourself
into a kayak and hit Santeetlah River.
Hiking is a popular thing to do around Rowe Lake; Jeffrey Trail is a great local trail; after a long day outdoors Tellico Riverside Resort is a splendid location to spend a night or two.
If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Great Smoky Mountains. Beech Gap is in the neighborhood of Rowe Lake and is certainly a great spot to visit, and you can stay the night at Jake Best Campground.
