So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, too delightful to be true. If you come at the right time of year, Roaring Paunch River offers some nice whitewater, and a splendid place to camp here at Ronald King Lake is Eagle Falls Resort. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Williamsburg. The high level of rain makes Ronald King Lake a rather wet place; the month with most of the rain is March, and October is

| | when it's the driest. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Pioneer is a pleasant site to spend a night or two, and some of the water nearby flows, like Jones Branch. You could also stop at West Pond since you're here at Ronald King Lake; it's close by; at Ronald King Dam near Ronald King Lake there are some out of the ordinary things to see.
