Ripshin Lake is a nice lake to visit. Ripshin Lake is located in the Great Smoky Mountains.
Why not take a refreshing hike along the Laurel Fork Trail and why not climb nearby Pine Mountain. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Great Smoky Mountains. If you come at the right time of year Doe River offers some great whitewater and why not check out Miller Lake Dam while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Loggers Flat is a beautiful

| | place any time of year and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Sugar Mountain while you're here. You're sure to bump into some nice people from Johnson City here and you can stay the night at Dennis Cove Campground. Don’t stop me now, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Ripshin Lake. Ripshin Lake is right by the Laurel Fork Trail and a good nearby hotel is Americourt Hotel Elizabethton. So much fun in the Great Smoky Mountains, just incredible. | |

Take a hike on the Pond Mountain Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Ripshin Lake has to offer, you can camp at Laurel Creek Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. Take a little trip to Little Roaring Creek while you're
here and since you're reading this you're probably into lakes, Hall Lake is one of those nearby. If you need a place to stay Americourt Hotel-Mountain City is a great choice and if you want a little side trip, try Hogum Hollow. Now,
you may think that's plenty but there's even more stuff to do here at Ripshin Lake.
Ripshin Lake is a place of average precipitation, July is the wettest month with most rain, October meanwhile is the driest month. In the
summer months at Ripshin Lake highs are usually in the 80's. Once the sun is down it cools down to the 60's. The cold days of winter come with highs in the 40's, winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Ripshin Lake.
