Ricker Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; during the month of May you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is October. There's so much to do here at Ricker Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Hemlock Hollow Inn - Farm, Shoppe & Cabins is a great place for that; after       a long day outdoors Hampton Inn Greeneville TN is a splendid location to spend a night or two. If you need a spot to stay Charray Inn is a good choice; Kinser Park Golf Course is a delightful golf course close by. Big Laurel Creek is a pleasant whitewater spot in the vicinity of Ricker Pond, and Ricker Pond is right by the Camp Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There are other sites here than Ricker Pond, for example Davy Crockett Lake, and hiking along                  the Bullen Hollow Trail is glorious fun. If only every location had this much outdoors enjoyable things, what a great world it would be. Waddell Spring is an inspiring place to go to during your stay. Lakes? Sure, Tom Austin Lake is in close proximity. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do right next door to Ricker Pond. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Ricker Pond has to offer, you can camp at Round Knob Campground; going for a hike along the Margarette Falls Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. All through the warm days of summer highs here at Ricker Pond get into the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Ricker Pond tend to be in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
