The Camp Creek Trail is a pleasant hiking trail near Ricker Pond, and if you came to camp Hemlock Hollow Inn - Farm, Shoppe & Cabins is a good place to do that.

There's so much to do here at Ricker Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Round Knob Campground is a fine place for that. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area in the neighborhood of Ricker
Pond has to offer. Kinser Park Golf Course is a magnificent golf course nearby, and Big Laurel Creek is a wonderful whitewater spot nearby. Caney Branch is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at, and if you need
a place to stay Comfort Inn Greeneville is a brilliant choice.
Throughout the summertime months at Ricker Pond highs are regularly in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Ricker Pond are in the 20's.
