Blue Basin is a perfect lake near Reelfoot Lake, and Campbells Point is not far at all. Reelfoot Lake is a wet spot that gets much precipitation;       all through May this area sees the most rain, and August on the other hand is the driest. Why not go to a swamp like Box Slough if you're here at Reelfoot Lake; Reelfoot Lake State Park is a pleasant campground nearby.
