Beautiful Red Pond has much to offer visitors. The peak of Deerstand Hill can be observed from Red Pond, and nearby you stumble on the River Mont Cave Historical Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby Gilliam Cove is a fine spot to go if you're at Red Pond, and if you come at the right time of year, Miller/Long Island Creek offers some great whitewater. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Red Pond. Once the sun is down it dips down

| | to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Red Pond are in the 20's.
Don't leave Red Pond without first checking out Billy Goat Cliff, and why not take a little tour to Kelly Cove Branch while you're here. And if that's not sufficient, there's plenty more to do close to Red Pond. If you need a site to stay Super 8 Kimball is a great choice,
and Russell Cave National Monument is a very pleasant spot to stop by. Going for a hike on the Winding Stairs is always a delightful adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Soar down the rapids of Big Fiery Gizzard Creek in a kayak;
nearby you locate Bolton Point.
Red Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; March is when you get the most rain here while June is frequently the driest month.
