Russell Cave National Monument is quite near Read Lake; Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites CHATTANOOGA-HIXSON is a great place to get some rest. Read Lake ordinarily gets a good deal of precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout March while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. At Read Lake during the summer months highs are in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. RV Park is a delightful local campground, and at Read Lake you always meet someone from Chattanooga. The Skyuka Trail is a great hiking trail near Read Lake, and get wet paddling on Middle Creek.
Now, you may believe that's loads
but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Read Lake. You're in all probability hooked on lakes, Rainbow Lake is one of those close by; dry warm beds await you at HomeAway Extended Stay Studios. Morrison Spring is an inspiring
location to take a look at while you're here, and Ford Gap is a great location to go to. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Playing golf is lots of fun at Signal Mountain Golf & Country Club.
This lake is so wonderful.
Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Falling Water Creek; Cumberland Escarpment is an exciting spot to stop by while at Read Lake. Camping at Racoon Mountain Campground is always a tremendous experience; if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Lookout Creek Trail.
