Read Lake is a lake worth visiting. Read Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; March is the month that gets the most rain, and June meanwhile is the driest month. Cherokee Motel is a great spot to get some rest, and camping at Raccoon Mountain Campground is always a delightful experience. In the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Middle Creek, and do take a hike on the Hardy Trail.

This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend close by Signal Mountain Golf & Country Club; Read Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Racoon Mountain Campground is a glorious local campground.
You absolutely
ought to have a thing about Read Lake. Falling Water Creek is a good whitewater spot near Read Lake, and a pleasant close by hotel is Holiday Motel. A tour to Russell Cave National Monument is worthwhile. Have a nice hiking adventure
along the Skyuka Trail, and you'll most likely meet some people from Chattanooga here.
Hiking along the Lookout Creek Trail is glorious fun; you might also want to pay a visit to Ford Gap if you're here at Read Lake.
