After a long day outdoors Best Western Smokehouse Lodge is a delightful site to spend a night or two, and paddling on Big Fiery Gizzard Creek is so much fun. Ramsey Lake gets lots of water; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain while October is regularly the driest month. The Cumberland Plateau Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Whitewater       paddling is pleasant on Little Fiery Gizzard Creek, and why not camp at Laurel Trails Campground while you're here at Ramsey Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Farmer Camp Hill can be seen from Ramsey Lake. You'll discover a striking lake called Parker Lake near Ramsey Lake, and Ramsey Lake Dam is not far at all from Ramsey Lake. Yep, outdoors exciting things to do are truly bountiful here at Ramsey Lake. It's a fine idea to visit Black Creek, it's right next                  door to Ramsey Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay South Cumberland RV Park is a good place to camp. These mountains rock, just explore all the cool things to do in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. A pleasant close by hotel is Days Inn Monteagle; a spree to Ramsey Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Higgenbotham Spring. High temperatures at Ramsey Lake all through the summertime months are in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Ramsey Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
