     Bowstring Branch is a lovely stream that is worth going to; camping at Buffalo River Trail Ride is always a pleasant experience. Summertime highs at Rainbow Lake usually tend to be in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Rainbow Lake. Near Rainbow Lake you stumble on Biffle Hollow which is a great location to visit, and The  
   Court House is something you shouldn't miss since you're here. Rainbow Lake ordinarily gets lots of rain; most of the rain falls through December, and the driest of the months is October.
This lake is so wonderful. You can observe Bald Knob from Rainbow Lake, and the fine people of Lawrenceburg like to hang out close by. Lakes? Sure, Horse Pond is close at hand, and Rainbow Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Buffalo River Canoe and Camp is
 
               a glorious local campground.
Having a glorious time at Rainbow Lake is painless. A short visit to Cave Spring is always worthwhile, and not far from Rainbow Lake you'll hit upon Slag Pile Pond which is a beautiful lake.
