You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things at Quinland Lake. If you came to camp Standing Stone State Park is a great place to do that, and near Quinland Lake you stumble on a golf course called Southern Hills Golf & Country Club. All the water falling down from the sky makes Quinland Lake a wet place; during the month of March you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is       October. At Quinland Lake you always meet someone from Cookevi lle; a fine place for whitewater paddling is Spring Creek. There's so much to do here at Quinland Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Spring Valley RV Park is a good spot for that, and a wonderful close by hotel is Eastwood Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Green Mountain is a peak you can spot from Quinland Lake; if you need a place to stay Park Place Inn is a tremendous choice. For                  the duration of the summer months, highs regularly are in the 80's at Quinland Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 60's.
