     Pressmens Home Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Comfort Inn & Suites is a nice spot to get some rest, and the Bunches Trace is a fine hiking trail close by. Pressmens Home Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn Rogersville, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Daniel Boone Trail. Some nearby water includes Laurel Branch; nearby you come across the Trail of the Lonesome Pine  
   which is a nice hiking trail.
Through the summer months at Pressmens Home Lake highs are generally in the 80's while nighttime lows are generally in the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 20's for Pressmens Home Lake. From Pressmens Home Lake you get a good sight of Doubling Mountain, and soar down the rapids of Powell River in a kayak. Why not camp at Cherokee Lake Camp Grounds if you're here at Pressmens Home
 
               Lake, and Pressmens Home Dam is an interesting thing to check out.
This lake is so wonderful. Nearby Little Poor Valley is a wonderful spot to go if you're at Pressmens Home Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Cherokee Lake Campground And Cabins is a great place to camp. Pressmens Home Lake is a wet place that gets a good deal of rainfall; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is October. This lake is so wonderful.
