    Portland City Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Camping is available at KOA Campgrounds, and get soaked paddling on Bledsoe Creek. If you go for the outdoors, you'll like Portland City Lake. A lake close by is Larry Collins Lake. Portland City Lake is a wet place that gets much precipitation; the month with most of the rain is March, and October on the other hand is the driest.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came for
 
   an overnight stay Bluegrass Music RV Park is a delightful location to camp, and Best Western Franklin Inn is a nice location to get some rest. Portland City Lake Dam is not far at all from Portland City Lake; if you need a place to stay Deerfield Inn is a wonderful choice. High temperatures at Portland City Lake during the summertime months are in the 80's, and the overnight is fairly chillier of course, commonly in the 60's. For the duration of the winter the  
               highs are typically in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Portland City Lake are in the 20's.
Golf can be played at Perry Kenny Country Creek Golf Course, and if you get bored of Portland City Lake you could also pop by nearby Sumner Sportsman Club Lake.

Bledsoe creek was a real let down. The only time to go to this is if there has been atleast one inch of rain the previous day before you go. When we got there it was a dried up creek bed so there was no rafting for us that day; we just had to settle on practicing our rolls....
