Summer brings highs in the 80's to Platts Pond while night lows are commonly in the 60's. For the period of the winter the highs are commonly in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Platts Pond are in the 20's. If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great earth it would       be. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western Mckenzie is a good spot to spend a night or two, unsurprisingly you could also visit Garrett Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. Jackson Mobile Village and RV Park is a good local campground; Thompson Creek Number Five Dam is an exciting thing to check out. Rlds Camp Ground is a wonderful campground nearby, and you'll almost certainly meet some people from Paris here.
