The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Pinoak Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and night lows at Pinoak Lake through the wintertime usually plunge into the 20's. Any time is a glorious time at Pinoak Lake if you love the outdoors. If you came to camp Parker's Crossroads Campground is a delightful site       to do that. There are great sites to explore along the Sulphur Fork Trail, and camping at Beech Bend Campground is always a brilliant experience. This lake is so wonderful. There's magnificent hiking along the Mount Zion Trail; Pin Oak Dam is a charming location. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Lexington is a nice site to spend a night or two, and let's not forget Cabe Branch which is a stream that you may come across during your stay. Pinoak Lake                  is a wet location that gets a good deal of precipitation; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is August.
