Redbud Lake is close at hand; there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Sulphur Fork Trail. A glorious close by hotel is Pin Oak Lodge, and going for a hike on the Largo Trail is always a tremendous adventure. For the period of the warm months at Pinoak Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Through       the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 20's for Pinoak Lake. The high level of rain makes Pinoak Lake a quite wet site; the wettest month of the year is generally March, that's the one that rains the most while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Man, is there a lot of amusing things to do near Pinoak Lake. Visit Cabe Branch if you're here at Pinoak Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
