Pinoak Lake is a splendid place to visit for more than one day, Parker's Crossroads Campground is a splendid place to camp nearby, and you can go for a hike on the Sulphur Fork Trail. You can take a little tour to Pin Oak Dam since you're here at Pinoak Lake, and there's great hiking along the Mount Zion Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Redbud Lake is near Pinoak       Lake, and don't leave Pinoak Lake without first going for a hike along the Largo Trail. This is a perfect area for people who like lakes. Browns Creek Lake is a lake close at hand, and dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Lexington. Pinoak Lake commonly gets much rain; all through the month of March you get the most rain around here while August is generally the driest month. Some of the water close by flows, like Cabe Branch.
