Pine Lake is one of the lakes here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Nearby lakes? Sure, Burns Lake is close to Pine Lake. That right there is a lot already, but it carries on; Pine Lake has it all. This is a fine area for people who like lakes. Meadow Creek Lake is a lake in the vicinity, and if you need a place to stay Scottish Inns       & Suites Dayton is a brilliant choice. Pine Lake mostly gets a large amount of rainfall; March is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is October. A wonderful place to camp here at Pine Lake is Mountain Glen RV Park, and Pine Lake Dam is an interesting thing to check out. Throughout the warm days of summer at Pine Lake highs are mostly in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. The winter brings highs down                  to the 40's while the cold winter nights at Pine Lake are in the 20's. All year is a good time in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains if you adore the outdoors. Get soaked paddling on Bee Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Dayton. Paddling on Cain Creek is so much fun, and there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Laurel-Snow Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
