Pickett Lake is a quite wet place generally with a good deal of precipitation; during December this area sees the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. There's magnificent hiking along the Island Trail, and a great place to camp here at Pickett Lake is Charit Creek Campground. Pickett Lake is one of the lakes here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Lake View Trail, and hey, Little Rock Creek is a brilliant local stream.
