Pickett Lake

Cumberland River - Little South Fork has a close by whitewater sweep; the Parmleysville to confluence with Big South Fork section is a delightful 45-mile-in-distance grade I-II sweep of whitewater. This section of Cumberland River - Little South Fork is well suited for whitewater paddlers who haven't been raft paddling for very long. The Zenith Mines to Leatherwood Ford sector is a splendid 7.8-mile-long type II sweep of whitewater on North White Oak Creek.
This sweep of North White Oak Creek is splendid for those missing a great deal of whitewater skill. Whitewater rapids are dangerous phenomenons, so you have to check the latest conditions before heading out.
