    Do stop by Peggy Pond while you're in this part of Tennessee. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. All our national parks are wonderful sites to have a look at, and Obed Wild & Scenic River is no exception, and in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Hurricane Creek. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Fairfield Glade is a great site to get some  
   rest. Peggy Pond is a rather wet place mostly with a good deal of rain; March is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is October.
Peggy Pond is one of the lakes here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. All year is a tremendous time in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains if you go for the outdoors. Peggy Pond is a glorious place to camp, Deer Run RV Resort is a glorious place, and if you need a place to stay Jordan Motel is a nice choice. Stay
 
               the night at Roam and Roost RV Campground; the fine folks of Crossville like to hang out close by.
This lake is so wonderful. Put some time aside to spend at Boiling Spring while you're here at Peggy Pond, and why not a little side spree to Glade Branch. You need to take a look at Long Point if you're here at Peggy Pond, and a tremendous place for whitewater paddling is Clear Creek. High temperatures at Peggy Pond throughout the warmest time of the year are in the 80's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are typically in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Peggy Pond temperatures plunge to the 20's.
