you need to camp here for a while, Spencer Cove RV Park is a great site for that. Dry warm beds await you at Budget Inn, and get your heart pumping on the brilliant whitewater of Clifty Creek.
Payne Lake is located in the Cumberland
Plateau Mountains. Payne Lake ordinarily gets a great deal of rain; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain while October is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop by Spain Lake if
you're here at Payne Lake; it's close by, and you don’t have to go far from Payne Lake to catch a glimpse of the water at Payne Lake Dam.
