This place, the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, has so much outdoors enjoyable things. A nice nearby hotel is Scottish Inns & Suites Dayton, and you can go for a hike on the Laurel-Snow Trail. Patterson Pond is a beautiful lake in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. This is a magnificent area for people who like lakes. Brushy Pond is a lake around here; why not camp at Blue water Campground if you're       here at Patterson Pond. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Rock Creek, and if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Dayton is a pleasant choice. For the period of the days of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Patterson Pond. Summer night lows descend down to the 60's. Through the winter highs are usually in the 40's, and night lows at Patterson Pond throughout the winter generally dip into the 20's. I don't want to stop, cause                  I'm havin' a pleasant time here at Patterson Pond. A pleasant location for whitewater paddling close to Patterson Pond is Big Possum Creek, and you're possibly hooked on lakes, Vannoort Lake is one of those nearby.
