    A visit to Old Hickory Lake is always a good idea. Old Hickory Lake is a wet site that gets lots of rain; the month with most of the rain is March, and October meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is Crestwood Suites - Nashville; Old Hickory Lake is not the only place nearby, Coleman Lake is a nearby lake. Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Goodlettsville, TN is a tremendous place to get some rest, and if you came for  
   an overnight stay Two Rivers Campgrounds is a tremendous site to camp.
If only every site had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great planet it would be. Springhouse Golf Club at Gaylord Opryland Resort is a golf course close to Old Hickory Lake, and the scenery at Old Hickory Dam is scenic. Hadley Bend is an interesting place to have a look at while at Old Hickory Lake. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Old Hickory Lake. Once
 
               the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Old Hickory Lake temperatures plunge to the 20's.
Why not camp at Nashville Koa Kampground if you're here at Old Hickory Lake, and do take a look at Center Point Branch since you're here at Old Hickory Lake. There are plenty of folks from Nashville-Davidson—Murfreesboro here at Old Hickory Lake, and a lake close by is Anderson Lake.

Two Rivers Campgrounds
Small, well kept campground that is privately owned and operated. Owners on site most of the time. During the season there is free live entertainment two or three nights a weeks. Always free coffee in the office for visitors. Front desk staff is friendly and can help you plan your stay in Nasvhille. Tours and show tickets available at the front desk as well.

No Tent Camping

104 RV sites with water, electric only OR water, electric and sewer.

Pets are allowed but you are required to keep them on a lease and pick up their messes.

Campfires are not allowed unless in a covered container that is off the ground.

There is a convenience store and a gift shop on the premeises.

A full service grocery store (Krogers) is close by.

There is a pool which is open from May thru October. No lifeguard is on duty.

Lesters Lake is no longer there. It was drained years ago after a girl was killed swimming there when she swam into an area inhabited by cottonmouth snakes and was bitten several times....Do you remember swimming at Lesters Lake...1970...?...
