Norris Lake is a nice lake to visit. Norris Lake is right by the Deer Trail. And if that's not enough there's heaps more enjoyable stuff to do in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Very pleasant water scenery is available at Norris Dam close to Norris Lake, and Massengill Hollow is another great spot to pop by nearby. Cumberland River - Clear Fork has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by, and you're sure to come across some fine people from La Follette

This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the River Bluff Trail, and it's a good idea to have a look at Clear Creek. Norris Lake commonly gets much rain; most of the rain falls during July; the driest month of the year is October. If only every site had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great globe it would be. Area is a very delightful location to go to.
If you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Clinton is a pleasant choice, and camping is available at Fox Inn Campground. Norris Lake is located in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. This
lake is so wonderful. A great forest next to Norris Lake is Norris Forestry Research Area, and Williams Spring is a fine local attraction.
Summertime highs at Norris Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's, and through summer nights
temperatures are in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime for Norris Lake tend to be in the 20's. Now, you may imagine that's plenty but there's even more amusing stuff to do
here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. A fine site to camp here at Norris Lake is Norris Dam State Park; Red Roof Inn Clinton is a great place to get some rest.
