    A visit to Norman Lake is always a good idea. Norman Lake is not far at all from Nashville-Davidson—Murfreesboro. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Norman Lake has to offer, you can camp at Holiday Rest Family Campground. Dry warm beds await you at Hyatt Place Nashville Northeast Hendersonville. Lakes? Sure, Crutcher Lake is in the vicinity. The high level of rainfall makes Norman Lake a relatively wet site; during March this area sees the most rain,  
   and the driest month of the year is October.
High temperatures at Norman Lake during the summertime are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Norman Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Crutcher Lake is a tremendous lake near Norman Lake. There's so much to do here at Norman Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Nashville
 
               Country RV Park is a perfect place for that. That right there is a heap already, but it continues; Norman Lake has it all. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Bledsoe Creek.
After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Nashville-Hendersonville, Tn is a tremendous site to spend a night or two; Norman Lake Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out.

Small, well kept campground that is privately owned and operated. Owners on site most of the time. During the season there is free live entertainment two or three nights a weeks. Always free coffee in the office for visitors. Front desk staff is friendly and can help you plan your stay in Nasvhille. Tours and show tickets available at the front desk as well.

Lesters Lake is no longer there. It was drained years ago after a girl was killed swimming there when she swam into an area inhabited by cottonmouth snakes and was bitten several times....Do you remember swimming at Lesters Lake...1970...?...

Bledsoe creek was a real let down. The only time to go to this is if there has been atleast one inch of rain the previous day before you go. When we got there it was a dried up creek bed so there was no rafting for us that day; we just had to settle on practicing our rolls....
