A visit to Nickajack Lake is always a good idea. A great close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Kimball, Tn, and a great place for whitewater paddling is Warren Creek. Good hiking is available along the River Mont Cave Historical Trail, and do pop by Hogjaw Creek while you're here at Nickajack Lake. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Sequatchie Valley Golf & Country Club is always a bliss, and Barton Hollow is positively a fine place to stop at. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a magnificent time here at Nickajack Lake. close by. This lake is so wonderful. There's pleasant hiking along the Skyuka Trail; after a long day outdoors Super 8 Kimball is a great spot to spend a night or two.
There's so much to do here at Nickajack Lake that you need
to camp here for a while, Camp On The Lake is a glorious spot for that, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Nickajack Lake; Bluff Trail is a glorious local trail. Nickajack Lake is a wet place that gets a lot of rain; the month
of March is the wettest with most of the rain; June on the other hand is the driest.
If you're interested in hydro structures, you can check out Nickajack Dam, and you can stay the night at Kimball Campground.
