Go to Morgan Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Stay the night at Tennessee Hills Campground; Morgan Lake Dam has delightful water scenery. This lake is so wonderful. Whispering Oaks Campground is a splendid campground here, and if you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Shelbyville. The high level of precipitation makes Morgan Lake a reasonably wet site; March is the wettest month with most rain, and October is when it's the driest.

During the winter highs are in the 40's while Morgan Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's.
