Many people like to go to Moore Lake. There are other sites here than Moore Lake, for example Waller Pond; you'll meet a lot of folks from Johnson City here. There are some nice whitewater spots on Nolichucky River, and Riverpark Campground is a great local campground. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the area right next door to Moore Lake has to offer. There's some flowing water close by, Clark Creek is a stream you can take a look

| | at during your stay; since you're here why not stop at Clarks Creek Shoals. If you come at the right time of year, Nolichucky River offers some pleasant whitewater, and going for a hike along the Patty Ridge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene places, why not pop by Walker Pond near Moore Lake, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Clark Creek Trail. makes Moore Lake a reasonably wet site; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Moore Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a picturesque outdoors
paradise. While you're here at Moore Lake it's a tremendous idea to stop by Sally Hole, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Squibb Creek Trail. Very stunning scenery and pleasant skiing is what you get at Wolf Laurel,
and if you came for an overnight stay Bigrock Campground is a good place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Holiday Inn Express Erwin I-181 / I-26 (Exit 15), is a great site to get some rest, and don't leave Moore Lake without first
checking out Bayless Bluff. Summertime highs at Moore Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. During the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 40's with temperatures
at Moore Lake dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. The summit of Potato Hill can be observed from Moore Lake; dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Erwin.
