Do stop by Moore Lake while you're in this part of Tennessee. Going for a hike on the Squibb Creek Trail is always a great adventure, and Bayless Bluff is something you shouldn't miss while you're here. Moore Lake is near Clarks Creek Shoals which is certainly worth checking out, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Erwin I-181 / I-26 (Exit 15), is a great site to spend a night or two. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Moore Lake.

| | Moore Lake gets much water; May is the month that gets the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. A good place to camp here at Moore Lake is Bigrock Campground, and while you're here at Moore Lake it's a good idea to explore Sally Hole. City. There is a wonderful hiking trail close to Moore Lake called the Patty Ridge Trail, and from Moore Lake you obtain a pleasant vista of Potato Hill. On a great day at Moore Lake you can take a hike along the Clark Creek Trail,
and skiing at Wolf Laurel is one of those things you just have to do. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Erwin is a tremendous choice; Nolichucky River has a fine whitewater paddling spot close
by. High temperatures at Moore Lake all through the summer are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. Through the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Moore Lake. This lake is so
wonderful. Why not camp at Pebble Mountain Family if you're here at Moore Lake, and whitewater paddling is good on Nolichucky River.
