Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Monterey; if you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Cookevi lle. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, too great to       be true. A fine spot for whitewater paddling right next door to Monterey Lake Number One is Obey River - East Fork, and as expected, A visit to Verble Hollow is always fun. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water close by, Brady Branch is a stream you can go to during your stay, and Monterey Lake Dam Number One is a spot that is close to Monterey Lake Number One. If you're a golfer then a splendid close by course is Mountain Ridge Golf Club,                  and if you need a location to stay Knights Inn Cookeville is a great choice. At Monterey Lake Number One throughout the months of summer highs are in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are generally in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Monterey Lake Number One through the wintertime commonly descend into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
