Mohawk Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Ballyhoo Family Campground is a great local campground, and you're probably interested in lakes, Geronimo Lake is one of those close by. Good hiking is available along the Laurel-Snow Trail, and Byrd Creek Dam is a beautiful spot. But wait, there's more enjoyable stuff to do in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. You'll meet a lot of people from Crossville here, and       a great nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel Crossville Tn. Mohawk Lake usually gets much rainfall; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is October. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. There are some nice whitewater spots on Daddy's Creek; if you've had enough of Mohawk Lake, Byrd Creek Lake is close by. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is located in the wonderful Cumberland Plateau Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Through the warm days of summer at Mohawk Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. Highs throughout the winter are typically in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Mohawk Lake are in the 20's. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do in the neighborhood of Mohawk Lake.
