Mohawk Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; March is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is October. Dry warm beds await you at Budget Inn; there are plenty of people from Crossville here. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Playing golf is lots of fun at Bear Trace Golf Course, and a tremendous place to camp here at Mohawk Lake is Crossville Koa Kampground. There's no way       someone can get bored here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. While you're here at Mohawk Lake, you could also go to wonderful Byrd Creek Lake. Mohawk Lake is a beautiful lake in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Through the months of summer at Mohawk Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Mohawk Lake during the winter                  regularly fall into the 20's. So much fun stuff to do in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, not sufficient time. Not far from Mohawk Lake you get some good water scenery at Byrd Creek Dam, and a great site for whitewater paddling is Daddy's Creek. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Village Inn Motel is a tremendous choice; hiking is a popular thing to do around Mohawk Lake; Laurel-Snow Trail is a wonderful local trail.
