    McKinney Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Summertime highs at McKinney Lake generally tend to be in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to McKinney Lake. A perfect close by hotel is Comfort Inn Florence, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not pop by Johnson Lake. Jameson Inn Florence is a  
   delightful place to get some rest, and if you want to pop by some exciting stuff, pop by Mackey Bluff.
You'll find a lovely lake called Kasmeier Pond near McKinney Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Powderhorn Campground is a pleasant place to camp. Any time is a pleasant time at McKinney Lake if you go for the outdoors. Carter Branch is a perfect site to have a look at; why not camp at Dixieland Music Park while you're here at McKinney Lake. This
 
               lake is so wonderful. There's always McKinney Lake Dam to stop at close to McKinney Lake; the smiling people of Lawrenceburg like to hang out nearby.
McKinney Lake gets a large amount of water; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
