Holiday Trav-L-Park of Chattanooga is a delightful campground nearby; probably you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Lake Junior is just a very short distance away. There are plenty of people from Chattanooga here at McCallie Lake, and the Lookout Creek Trail is a good hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Holiday Inn Chattanooga-Choo Choo, Tn is a fine choice. If the       weather is good here at McCallie Lake, you can go for a hike along the Skyuka Trail; Middle Creek is a delightful whitewater spot close by. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. In case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Falling Water Creek; a great nearby hotel is Chattanooga Days Inn Lookout Mountain/Downtown. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Lookout Valley RV Park is a tremendous                  spot to camp; if you've had enough of McCallie Lake, Lake Winnepesauka is close by. McCallie Lake ordinarily gets a lot of rainfall; through March this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is October. While you're here at McCallie Lake you can take a hike along the Hardy Trail, and for you golfers we recommend close by Chattanooga Golf & Country Club. During the warm months at McCallie Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's.
