Man, is there a lot of entertaining things to do next to Mayland Lake. The scenery at Mayland Lake Dam in close proximity to Mayland Lake is gorgeous. There's so much to do here at Mayland Lake that you       need to camp here for a while, Roam and Roost RV Campground is a magnificent place for that. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Inn of the Cumberlands, and get wet paddling on Caney Fork. Mayland Lake is a beautiful lake in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Whitewater paddling is great on Clifty Creek, and Mayland Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Crossville Holiday Trav-l-Park is                  a great local campground. Some nearby water includes George Branch, and you'll meet a lot of people from Crossville here. Summertime highs at Mayland Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. All through the wintertime highs are generally in the 40's while Mayland Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's.
