Mayes Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; during the month of July you get the most rain around here while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Sulphur Spring is a wonderful site to visit while you're at Mayes Lake, and Scottish Inns Morristown is a fine spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water close by, West Fork Creek is a stream you can check out while       here, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Morristown is a glorious place to spend a night or two. That right there is a lot already, but it goes on; Mayes Lake has it all. Camping is available at Wa Ni Village Resort. Lakes are splendid; Masengill Lake is a lake that's right next door to Mayes Lake. Not far from Mayes Lake, you'll come across Barrett Pond which is a wonderful lake, and the Bunches Trace is a perfect hiking trail nearby. Lots of                  people from Morristown come to Mayes Lake. Throughout the summertime highs here at Mayes Lake reach the 80's.
