Why not camp at Spring Valley RV Park while you're here at Maxwell Lake, and do check out Quinland Lake, it's a wonderful lake. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites       COOKEVILLE is a great spot to spend a night or two. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Spring Creek, and White Plains Golf Course is a fine golf course nearby. Be careful coming to Maxwell Lake, you might not ever wanna go back home again. A good nearby hotel is Cookeville Knights Inn; don't forget to take a pleasant little tour to Boles Branch. Here at Maxwell Lake there are plenty of folks from Cookevi lle; from Maxwell Lake you acquire a perfect sight                  of Algood Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Standing Stone State Park is a brilliant place to camp, and a fine place to explore is Black Bottom. At Maxwell Lake throughout the summertime months highs are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 60's.
