If you are in Knox county it's always a good idea to stop by Lake Mary Ella. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Mary Ella a wet spot; March is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is October. This lake is so wonderful. The Deer Trail offers hiking at its best. Camping is available at Bell Campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Little River.

If you came for an overnight stay Powell Koa Kampground is a brilliant spot to camp; since you're here, you might as well check out Cheneworth Gap. This lake is so wonderful. Do check out Bradley Lake in the neighborhood
of Lake Mary Ella, it's a picturesque lake, and Johnson Spring is a good local attraction. Throughout the summertime months, highs commonly are in the 80's at Lake Mary Ella, and the nighttime is quite cooler of course, mostly in
the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and night lows during the wintertime for Lake Mary Ella tend to be in the 20's.
