Sugar Creek Campground is a tremendous campground here, and some of the water close by flows, like Cane Creek. A journey to Blackwell Hollow is always fun, and naturally, this is a great vicinity for folks who like lakes, Blue Pond is a lake close by. The high level of rain makes Maple Pond a pretty wet spot; during December this area sees the most rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. Maple Pond truly       is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. On a good day at Maple Pond you can take a hike along the Buffalo Trail. After a long day outdoors Three Cedars Motel is a great spot to spend a night or two, and if you're here you have to pop by Bass Bay. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Dixieland Country Cabins is a pleasant choice, and camping at Maple Pond is delightful fun, Driftwood Shores Campground is a delightful local campground.                  At Maple Pond all through the months of summer highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 60's.
