This lake is so wonderful. A great deal of precipitation falls at Madisonville Lake; most of the rain falls through March while October is mostly the driest month. Madisonville Lake is a spot with many visitors from Athens, and hiking along the Iven Trail is glorious fun. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Comfort Inn West is a wonderful choice,       and if you came for an overnight stay Little Tellico Campground is a magnificent spot to camp. Drift down the rapids of Tellico River in a kayak, and do go to Carson Branch while you're here at Madisonville Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Sweetwater, and an afternoon playing golf at Madisonville Golf Course is always a pleasure. What a location this is for outdoors people. At Estes Kefauver Lake Dam in the vicinity of Madisonville Lake there                  are some out of the ordinary things to see, and why not camp at Sweetwater Valley Koa if you're here at Madisonville Lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Wildcat Creek; Madisonville Lake is right by the Conasauga Falls Trail.
