Camping at Madisonville Lake is tremendous fun, Sweetwater Valley Koa is a tremendous local campground, and if you need a spot to stay Town & Country Motel is a magnificent choice. Little Tellico Campground is a pleasant campground here; hiking along the Conasauga Falls Trail is tremendous fun. Get your heart pumping on the glorious whitewater of Tellico River, and an out of the       ordinary thing to stop at close to Madisonville Lake is Estes Kefauver Lake Dam. Yep, outdoors amusing stuff to do are truly plentiful here at Madisonville Lake. Motor Inns of America is a good location to get some rest, and a glorious site for whitewater paddling is Wildcat Creek. All through the warm months at Madisonville Lake highs are mostly in the 80's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and overnight                  lows at Madisonville Lake through the winter generally sink into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Iven Trail, and during your spree here you'll meet some people from Athens for sure. Madisonville Lake is a wet location that gets much precipitation; the wettest month of the year is frequently March, that's the one that rains the most while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
