Long Lake generally gets a good deal of rainfall; December is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is August. Through the summer at Long Lake temperatures are commonly in the 90's, and throughout the night it cools down to the       60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Long Lake are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Horseshoe Lake, and after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Brownsville is a perfect place to spend a night or two. Long Lake is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Joyners Campground is a great spot to camp nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Brownsville. Take a side                  tour to Bear Creek; the smiling people of Brownsville like to hang out nearby. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Long Lake.
