Through the long summer days at Ledford Pond temperatures are mostly in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Ledford Pond dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. Ledford Pond is a quite wet place ordinarily with lots of rainfall; May is when you get the most rain here, and October is the month       with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Valley Creek from Ledford Pond is simple, and dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn Rogersville. Soar down the rapids of Powell River in a kayak; after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two. Stay the night at Cherokee Lake Campground And Cabins, and lakes are such peaceful spots, why not have a look at Pressmens Home Lake. Ledford Pond is a                  magnificent site to visit for more than one day, Cherokee Lake Camp Grounds is a magnificent site to camp nearby; if you wish for a little side spree, try Black Sheep Hollow. You absolutely have to adore Ledford Pond.
