The Racoon Loop offers hiking at its best, and paddling on Roaring Paunch River is so much fun. Laxton Lake is a beautiful lake in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. All the outdoors amusing stuff in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains will keep you coming back many times. Stay the night at Bandy Creek Campground, and Laxion Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out. Throughout the months       of summer highs here at Laxton Lake get into the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 60's. During the winter highs are generally in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Laxton Lake. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Laxton Lake, you could also go to stunning Laxion Lake, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Oneida Golf & Country Club. Laxton Lake is a quite wet place typically with                  a great deal of rain; most of the rain falls throughout March while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Why not explore Laxton Lake Dam while you're here, and whitewater paddling is good on New River. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Laxton Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Charit Creek Campground is a delightful location for that, and there's perfect hiking along the Laurel Creek Trail. Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area is a good place in the vicinity of Laxton Lake. And if you're still looking for more outdoors exciting things just keep reading.
