Laxion Lake

Laxion Lake is located in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. The nearby type II-III, 8.9-mile-from-beginning-to-end US 27 Bridge to Clear Fork River portion of whitewater on New River is heaps of fun. If by chance you boast a bit of whitewater rafting and kayaking experience, this stretch of New River could be a fine stretch for your skill. There's a delightful category IV-V run of whitewater nearby on Pine Creek, the 1.62-mile-long Close to Toonley to Leatherwood
Ford sector. Donít be sure of staying dry raft paddling this run of Pine Creek. Check conditions before you go on the whitewater, or else it's not safe.
