Western Smokehouse Lodge is a good place to spend a night or two. A splendid place for whitewater paddling near Laurel Lake is Little Fiery Gizzard Creek, and Laurel Trails Campground is a pleasant local campground.
This lake
is so wonderful. At Laurel Lake you always meet someone from Tullahoma; dry warm beds await you at Monteagle-Days Inn. Nearby Drip Spring Cove is a wonderful place to go if you're at Laurel Lake, and Duck Pond is a nearby lake that
you could stop by. A cool spot to check out close to Laurel Lake is Eagle Cliff, and if you get bored of Laurel Lake you could also explore nearby Patton Pond.
Laurel Lake usually gets a great deal of precipitation; throughout
March this area sees the most rain, and August meanwhile is the driest month. Big Fiery Gizzard Creek is a brilliant whitewater spot next to Laurel Lake, and don't forget to take a great little spree to Laurel Branch.
