This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Abrams Creek; you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Abrams Falls Trail. Lanier Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; all through the month of March you get the most rain around here while October is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Abrams Creek Campground is a fine spot to do that, and if you come at the right time of year, Slickrock Creek offers some delightful whitewater. Dry warm
beds await you at Four Eleven Motel, and don't forget to take a brilliant little spree to Big Spring Branch. So much cool stuff to do at Lanier Lake, so little time.
The warmest time of the year at Lanier Lake comes with high
temperatures in the 80's; the night is fairly chillier of course, commonly in the 60's. All through the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Lanier Lake drop
into the 20's. There's so much to do here at Lanier Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Carpenter Campground is a great site for that It's always wonderful to visit Montvale Springs.
