     At Lakewood Dam near Lakewood Lake there are some attention-grabbing things to see, and if you came to camp Goodletteville Koa Kampground is a good spot to do that. You could also stop at Ridgetop Lake if you're here at Lakewood Lake; it's close by; after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Whites Creek/ Nashville NW Area is a brilliant site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites GOODLETTSVILLE;  
   lots of folks from Nashville-Davidson—Murfreesboro come here. At Lakewood Lake all through the summertime highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are frequently in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Lakewood Lake are in the 20's.
But wait, there's more to do near Lakewood Lake. A lake nearby is Browns Lake; Lakewood Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Nashville North KOA
 
               is a perfect local campground. A great site for whitewater paddling near Lakewood Lake is Little Harpeth River, and a golf course nearby is Oak Hills Golf Course. Lakewood Lake mostly gets much rain; all through the month of March you get the most rain around here while October is frequently the driest month.

Two Rivers Campgrounds
Small, well kept campground that is privately owned and operated. Owners on site most of the time. During the season there is free live entertainment two or three nights a weeks. Always free coffee in the office for visitors. Front desk staff is friendly and can help you plan your stay in Nasvhille. Tours and show tickets available at the front desk as well.

No Tent Camping

104 RV sites with water, electric only OR water, electric and sewer.

Pets are allowed but you are required to keep them on a lease and pick up their messes.

Campfires are not allowed unless in a covered container that is off the ground.

There is a convenience store and a gift shop on the premeises.

A full service grocery store (Krogers) is close by.

There is a pool which is open from May thru October. No lifeguard is on duty.

Lesters Lake is no longer there. It was drained years ago after a girl was killed swimming there when she swam into an area inhabited by cottonmouth snakes and was bitten several times....Do you remember swimming at Lesters Lake...1970...?...
