What a spot this is for outdoors folks. While you're here at Lake in the Sky you can take a hike along the Abrams Falls Trail, and nice water scenery is available at Lake in the Sky Dam next to Lake in the Sky. For the duration of the days of summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Lake in the Sky, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. in the Sky tend to be in the 20's. Playing golf is lots of fun at Lambert Acres Golf Course; on a good day you can take a hike along the Hannah Mountain Trail.
If you came to camp Abrams Creek Campground is a brilliant spot to
do that; you're sure to come across some great folks from Knoxville here. Have a good hiking adventure along the Little Bottoms Trail, and a pleasant journey to The Flats is a pleasant way to spend an afternoon. If you need a location
to stay Olackberry Farms is a wonderful choice, and a fine close by hotel is Four Eleven Motel.
Lake in the Sky is a reasonably wet place mostly with lots of rain; all through the month of March you get the most rain around here,
and the driest of the months is October. You can run the rapids of Little River in the neighborhood of Lake in the Sky, and do visit Sandy Stand Lake, it's a pretty lake.
