If you are in Cumberland county it's always a good idea to stop by Lake Waldensia. This lake is located in the wonderful Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Throughout the summer at Lake Waldensia highs are frequently in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's, and overnight lows at Lake Waldensia all through the winter commonly dip into the 20's. That right there is plenty of cool

If you're interested in hydro structures, you can check out Lake Waldensia Dam; Lake Waldensia is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Bridgadoon Resort is a splendid local campground. After a long day outdoors Budget Motel Rockwood is a tremendous place to spend a night or two, and the vista of striking Peg Mountain is great. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy | |

all the fun things in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Budget Motel is a brilliant site to get some rest; camping at Eden Marina is always a brilliant experience. So many exciting things in the vicinity of Lake Waldensia, truly
phenomenal. Visiting Obed Wild & Scenic River is just something you need to do if you haven't yet; if you come at the right time of year, Mammys Creek offers some delightful whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take
a refreshing hike along the Fooshee Pass Trail; since you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Harriman. This lake is so wonderful. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Fall Creek, and needless to say Carter
Branch flows through this region. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Waldensia a wet location; March is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is October.
