A golf course right next door to Lake Tansi is Bear Trace Golf Course, and there are other places here than Lake Tansi, for example Hiawawtha Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Summer at Lake Tansi arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Lake Tansi dipping       down into the 20's throughout winter nights. Go for a hike on the Laurel-Snow Trail; soar down the rapids of Daddy's Creek in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to bump into some cheerful folks from Crossville here, and if you came for an overnight stay Crossville Koa Kampground is a nice place to camp. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Crossville, TN is a glorious site to spend a night or two, and lakes are such peaceful sites, why not stop                  at Byrd Creek Reservoir.
