After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel Crossville Tn is a good place to spend a night or two, and not far from Lake Tansi you'll discover Hiawawtha Lake which is a stunning lake. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lake Tansi has to offer, you can camp at Ballyhoo Family Campground. Lakes? Sure, Byrd Creek Reservoir is in the vicinity. Lake Tansi is one of the lakes here in the       Cumberland Plateau Mountains. For the duration of the months of summer here at Lake Tansi, high temperatures typically get into the 80's, and the night is a tad colder of course, typically in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's; through the dark hours in the winter at Lake Tansi temperatures fall to the 20's. Lake Tansi is not far at all from Crossville. There's so much to do here at Lake Tansi that you need to camp here for a while,                  Crossville Koa Kampground is a wonderful spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. All year is a glorious time in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains if you like the outdoors. Cottrell Branch flows through this vicinity, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Laurel-Snow Trail. A good deal of precipitation falls at Lake Tansi; March is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is October. So much amusing stuff to do here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, too magnificent to be true. Dry warm beds await you at Crossville Days Inn, and Tansi Lake Dam is gorgeous.
