Having a good time in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains is painless. Playing golf is lots of fun at Stonehenge Golf Club, and some nearby water includes Bear Branch. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun things the Cumberland Plateau Mountains has to offer. Stay the night at Deer Run RV Resort, and Lake Malvern is a perfect lake nearby. If you need a spot to stay Fairfield Glade Resort       is a great choice, and you'll probably meet some people from Crossville here. There are other sites here than Lake Pomeroy, for example Glastowbury Lake, and Lake Pomeroy Dam has nice water scenery. Now, you may believe that's lots but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Lake Pomeroy. There's so much to do here at Lake Pomeroy that you need to camp here for a while, Bean Pot Holiday Trav-l-park is a great place for that, and stopping by Obed Wild & Scenic                  River is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. This lake is so wonderful. A great location for whitewater paddling close to Lake Pomeroy is Daddy's Creek, and going for a hike on the Fooshee Pass Trail is always a wonderful adventure. During the summer here at Lake Pomeroy, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Lake Pomeroy dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. From Lake Pomeroy you get a good view of Peavine Mountain, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites CROSSVILLE is a good location to get some rest. Lake Pomeroy sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is commonly March, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is October.
