Lake Pomeroy is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. The Fooshee Pass Trail is a tremendous hiking trail near Lake Pomeroy; dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Crossville Tn. Lake Pomeroy gets a great deal of water; March is when you get the most rain here while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! | | have to go far from Lake Pomeroy to distinguish the water at Lake Pomeroy Dam, and Lake Pomeroy is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Deer Run RV Resort is a pleasant local campground.
You could also visit Ryan Lake while you're here at Lake Pomeroy; it's nearby, and there are plenty of people from Crossville here at Lake Pomeroy. If time allows, Obed Wild & Scenic River is a national park worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. After a long | |

Lake Pomeroy is not the only place nearby, Kirkstone
Lake is a nearby lake; a great view of stunning Peavine Mountain is available. For the period of the warm months at Lake Pomeroy highs are mostly in the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime
highs are generally in the 40's, and night lows all through the wintertime for Lake Pomeroy tend to be in the 20's. Now, you may feel that's loads but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains.
Get yourself into a kayak and hit Daddy's Creek, and a magnificent location to camp here at Lake Pomeroy is Bean Pot Holiday Trav-l-park.
Yep, outdoors entertaining things to do are really bountiful here at Lake Pomeroy. If you
come at the right time of year, Yellow Creek offers some glorious whitewater; Stonehenge Golf Club is a golf course nearby. Lake Pomeroy is a beautiful lake in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains.
