Do stop by Lake Ottosee while you're in this part of Tennessee. This lake is so wonderful. Southlake RV Park is a good campground nearby, and Lynnhurst Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. Take a hike on the River Bluff Trail, and float down the rapids of Little River in a kayak.

dip down into the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Lake Ottosee are in the 20's.
There's some interesting stuff to observe at Beaman Lake Dam right next door to Lake Ottosee, and do put some time aside to spend at McNutt Shoals while you're here at Lake Ottosee.
