    Lake O'Donnell is a lake worth visiting. There's so much to do here at Lake O'Donnell that you need to camp here for a while, Laurel Trails Campground is a perfect place for that; Barnes Branch is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at. A brilliant site close to Lake O'Donnell is Running Knob Hollow; after a long day outdoors Best Western Smokehouse Lodge is a wonderful site to spend a night or two. Any time is a wonderful time at Lake O'Donnell  
   if you fancy the outdoors. If you come at the right time of year, Big Fiery Gizzard Creek offers some magnificent whitewater, and do take a look at Athletic Field Lake, it's a gorgeous lake.
There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Lake O'Donnell. A trip to Russell Cave National Monument is worthwhile. The summit of Cape of Good Hope can be distinguished from Lake O'Donnell, and since you're here, do take a trip to Piney Point. This lake is so
 
               wonderful. Don't leave Lake O'Donnell without first paying a visit to Harrison Spring; Lake O'Donnell is a place with many visitors from Tullahoma.
Dry warm beds await you at Smoke House Restaurant, and you can go for a hike on the Winding Stairs. Lake O'Donnell gets much water; the month with most of the rain is March while August is mostly the driest month. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Little Fiery Gizzard Creek, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can explore Lake O'Donnell Dam.
All through the summertime at Lake O'Donnell highs are commonly in the 80's; the overnight is somewhat colder of course, frequently in the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's while Lake O'Donnell nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Lake O'Donnell is good enough to spend more than a day at, Manchester Koa Kampground is a good local campground; don't leave Lake O'Donnell without first going for a hike along the River Mont Cave Historical Trail.
