There are other locations here than Lake O'Donnell, for example Lake Cheston; Russell Cave National Monument is a great local destination. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake O'Donnell a wet place; March is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is August. This lake is so wonderful. Lake O'Donnell Dam is an exciting thing to check out, and a great place for       whitewater paddling is Big Fiery Gizzard Creek. A delightful close by hotel is Monteagle-Days Inn, and a quick journey to Barnes Branch is undeniably a splendid idea. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do in close proximity to Lake O'Donnell. Good hiking is available along the River Mont Cave Historical Trail, and a good place to stop at is Running Knob Hollow. For the period of the summertime months highs here at Lake O'Donnell reach the 80's;                  through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Lake O'Donnell. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Little Fiery Gizzard Creek near Lake O'Donnell, and there are plenty of people from Tullahoma here. Cape of Good Hope is easy to spot from Lake O'Donnell; not far from Lake O'Donnell you'll come across Eva Lake which is a charming lake. If only every place had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great world it would be. There's so much to do here at Lake O'Donnell that you need to camp here for a while, South Cumberland RV Park is a splendid place for that; the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Harrison Spring. If you came to camp Laurel Trails Campground is a brilliant place to do that, and you can go for a hike on the Winding Stairs.
