Go to Lake Lookout if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. Comfort Inn And Suites Lookout Mountain is a nice spot to get some rest, and going for a hike on the Hardy Trail is always a great adventure. You don’t have to go far from Lake Lookout to make out the water at Lake Lookout Dam; Moccasin Bend Public Golf Club is a pleasant golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful. Russell Cave National Monument is a national park worth checking out.
The warmest time of the year at Lake Lookout arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and the overnight is fairly chillier of course, regularly in the 60's.
Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Lake Lookout throughout the wintertime ordinarily descend into the 20's. Lake Lookout mostly gets much rainfall; the month with most of the rain is March,
and June is the month with the least moisture. A pleasant spot to camp here at Lake Lookout is Raccoon Mountain Campground; Rock Creek has a fine whitewater paddling spot close by.

Gap Lake is a nearby lake, and camping at Racoon Mountain Campground is always a splendid experience. If you need a place to stay Best Value Inn & Suites is a wonderful choice, and if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Middle Creek.
